There are beaches surrounding the entire island but the Western side has white sandy beaches almost entirely along its coast. The Eastern side has beaches but less spectacular and rocky. The most Popular Beaches are Agianni (Facing the Villas), Porto Katisiki (30 kms from Villas), Egremni (20 kms from Villas), Gyra (2 kms from Villas) and Agios Nikitas (10 kms from Villas).
